A glimpse into my journey and passion for technology.
Hey there! I'm Andrew Ellender, a software engineer and IT specialist born and raised in Louisiana. My journey into technology started at Louisiana State University , where I earned my degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering), diving deep into coding, database management, and cybersecurity.
Throughout college, I worked on various projects—from open-source software to cloud-based applications—developing a passion for creating scalable and efficient systems. After graduating, I began my professional career in IT, managing networks, servers, and security infrastructure.
Now, I work at Louisiana Pigment, where I manage enterprise software, optimize server and network performance, and develop and deploy ASP.NET applications to enhance business operations. I thrive on building technology that makes a difference, whether it's streamlining workflows, securing critical data, or improving IT infrastructure.
When I’m not coding or managing systems, you’ll find me working on open-source projects, deploying Docker containers, or exploring emerging tech. Outside of work, I enjoy gaming, watching movies, staying active, and keeping up with the stock market.
Let’s build something awesome together!
